How to search the database

For a simple search, select a single entry in one of the boxes listed if you know which one the resource you are looking for relates to and click the "Submit Search" button. For a more general search, select the "all" option and click the "Submit Search" button.

For example, select a particular work package if you know which one the resource you are looking for relates to. For a more general search, select "all work packages" and click the "Submit Search" button.

For a more specific search, you can combine a number of selections. Often, you need only select two or three boxes, leaving the others displaying "all". Some examples are given below.

To search by keyword, use the Google site search in the menu on the left. This will search all the content of the website for the keyword(s) used. Use this option for a very broad search, or for when you want to search for content which is not classified as a Resource i.e. the text of the SWITCH web pages. You can also use it to find information relating to a particular person, place, event or topic, e.g. to search for resources on 'leakage', type this into the search box and click on search.
